Join Upside and the IM in celebrating Jesus at the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service held in the Upside Sanctuary. Candlelight Service will take place on Christmas Eve (December 24th) at 7:3o pm. We hope to see you come out and feel free to bring a friend!

Due to snow I’m sure a lot of you weren’t able to make it to church today. Most of you who haven’t turned in their forms are probably wondering what to do since today was the last day for registration. But, don’t worry! Retreat registration will be extended to you IF you tell your fellowship leader in advance that you are planning to go to retreat.

• White Elephant: This Friday Night ICU! Join us for a fun holiday game at 7:30 to 9:30. PLease bring a $5 wrapped gift (no gift cards or cash). Dinner will be provided.
• Winter Retreat 2009: JoinSign up is closing on December 20th, be sure to turn in your forms on a Friday or before/after Joint Service. Winter Retreat, December 27th to 29th!!
• Joint Service: There will be joint service with the KM on December 20th, service will be in the main KM sanctuary at 12:00.
• Joint X-mas Service: There will be joint service with IM on December 24th! See you there.
  
• New Year’s Service: On December 31st join Upside as we count down to another new year! Let’s say goodbye to 2009 and say hello to 2010!!!

Come to Friday Night ICU on December 18th, for a fun night of white elephant! Friday Night ICU starts at 7:30pm and ends at 9:30pm. Dinner/ light snack will be provided.

What is white elephant?
Presents are wrapped and placed in a pile. All participants draw a number to determine their order. The participant with #1 unwraps any gift from the pile and then shows it to everyone. Each successive participant, in the order determined from the drawing can “steal” an already opened gift be adventurous and go for a wrapped gift from the pile. If the participant chooses to steal, the person whose gift is stolen must pick an unwrapped gift.

Don’t forget to bring a $5 wrapped gift if you want to participate.

The Winter Retreat of 2009 is coming up!!!!
Signing up for the retreat has now opened! Pick up a form and return it with a check of $75 at the retreat sign up desk on Fridays and Sundays. You can also pick up the permission form online. Registration is open until December 20th, so please turn in your forms early!

Congratulations to the Upside Boys and Girls team!!! They did a great job during the championship game. Good job boys for carrying on the legacy winning 4 consecutive years and good job to the girls for winning back the championships.

Thank you to those who helped coach the teams, John, Ken, and G. Also, thank you David Lim for being the coordinator of Upside flag football. Lastly, thank you players for fighting hard and taking part!
